Neumark/Oststernberg, Brandenburg (& western Posen)
In Ottilie (Menze) Hennig Kurth's bible and papers we find events occuring in the following places:
Grabow (where she was born, raised & married); Arensdorf (where her husband Carl Julius Adolf Hennig was born); Sternberg, where church records were kept; Bomst (where they must have lived after marriage, as their first son and daughter were born there; Weiberwerder where the next two children were born; & Hammer where they were christened; Zielenzig - where the photo of "Grandmother and Grandfather Menze" was taken; Greiffenhagen, where a Kurth relative was married. The area is also referred to as Neumark, and on photos you will see the abreviation N. M. referring to the area.
